Hacking external drive question

I had a jailbroken ps4 using a 3tb external drive as extended storage and filled the drive with games, I sold the ps4 and if I get another one will that external drive be recognized with games still on it. or would the new ps4 need to format again.

i think if they where installed using hen1.7 or 1.8 and using extended storage you can use it on a diffirent ps4 using the same method

Yes the games on the extended storage USB will work on another PS4.

It is important that you run HEN v1.8 FIRST and then plug in the extended storage USB.
After you have done this once it should not matter if HEN v1.8 is run first or not.

If you forget to run HEN first all that will happen is that the games will not show up.
Just restart the PS4 and run HEN v1.8 before you plug in the drive.

i move my external from ps4s all the time no issues
