So does this mean if others have designed there own theme can they share it on here or not? Could do with a tut for an example on how to use it if you want to design your own theme. Would be nice :)

As long as your not sharing any copyrighted content i don't see why not.
although this is a read only viewer until more of the format is documented.

very very cool, I can't wait to make my own TWEWY theme with also minamimoto's "so zetta slow" as one of the sounds >_>

Once more of it is documented, it would sure be nice to customize the background music, sound effects, and hopefully the HOME Menu layout (for custom icon locations) as well!

The emunand doesn't accept the instalation of repacked theme CFAs (says it's an invalid CIA)

Look, a repacked 00000015.cfa (zero key encryption) on the left and an original one (retail encryption) on the right. The exact same settings apart from the encryption and it's still invalid.

But, BBB provides eshop titles converted to retail-encrypted roms... they probably could release region free themes if they wanted to.

i need less idiots like you in my thread. get out.

Not sure if im following you right, but i can repack unedited files and install them fine.. it's when i edit the romfs, rehash, etc that it wont install properly.

Never works with me. I can only install if I reuse the original CFAs. It stops working when I extract the romfs (and icon) and rebuild them (even using the original data).

oh, well i dont use things like makerom or any of that, save for making the cia, but i was injecting everything by hand in my attempts.

Yeah I thought of that too, so I tried to inject a modified exefs with another regions' icon file. Fixed the hashes and rexored. It still didn't work, hue.

I wonder if there's a table the 3DS is reading from in order to check the authenticity of installed themes. Might be a good idea to check some of the Extra data created after browsing the theme shop.

If I knew the formats of the music and whatnot, I'd totally try. I'll have to find an unpacked theme and experiment with it.
