Hacking Etrian odyssey 1,2 , Picross sav problem

I've got another problem.

so far this has ocurred with etrian odyssey 1 and 2, and picross.
picross thought i was "new", y'know, with no puzzles unlocked and such,
and etrian odyssey 1 and 2 erased some of my maps!

I've noticed that of a lot of my games, the save files are 544 kb instead of 512.
i've always used normal sav. extension saves.

help would be very greatly appreciated!


EDIT: checked and it also fails epicly when using the 1.41 firmware i used before.

Picross is working fine for me. Read my old SAV just fine. Using AKAIO 1.5 and 9/23/09 loaders on a DSi with 1.4 Firmware.

now my saves are 576 kb...

after fiddling around with the sav settings, etrian odyssey 1 and 2 work properly AFAIK,
but picross still fails.

AFAIK the rest of my games run like they should, so...

EDIT nvm they fail again after switching back to 1.5

This is not normal, as the saves should not be inflating themselves. Do you use cheats by any chance? Bad cheats are known to cause various save file corruptions.
