+1 On ALL of the following:
- StarFox 64 3D. A classic in your pocket. What's not to love?
- Ocarina of Time. THE ultimate game, in your pocket. Even after 15 years I still find myself drawn to it time and time again, even though I can finish it blindfolded at this point.
- Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy. Not the best in the series and woefully lacking multiplayer, but it does a great job.
- Mario Kart 7. Destined for greatness from day one and never disappointed us for a nanosecond.
- Mario 3D Land. A true Mario classic.
- Sonic Generations. Some of the most inspired design I've seen in some time, making that perfect S rank run across the rooftops of the Casino Night Zone a true classic gaming moment.
- Ridge Racer. The only racing game to come close to Mario Kart IMHO. Nothing beats drifting around a beautiful mountain vista at 200 MPH in full 3D. It's also a bargain.
- Resident Evil Mercenaries. The ultimate 5 minute blast game for short burst gaming, with friends or alone. I'm still chasing high scores even now.
- Shinobi. The underachiever of the library, it's a real retro inspired classic with a great feeling of accomplishment for every level beaten, every bonus unlocked. Punishing difficulty but definately worth a look.
- Dead or Alive Dimensions. An amazing looking game, and for reasons beyond Kasumi's cleavage. Although that is nice to look at. Brilliant technical fighter, solid online play, 'nuff said.
- Street Fighter 4. Arguably the best fighter of this generation, shrunk down to pocket size while losing almost nothing. If the backgrounds had been animated it would have been truly perfect.
If I ever get my mitts on a copy of Tales of the Abyss it will probably earn a +1 as well, but since it's rarer than an Essex girl with her legs closed, I can't in all good conscience give it a pre-emptive +1.
