You have two problems using any CFW, and you have to see when using RetroArch and Goldleaf

In RetroArch I can not load any emulator like N64 or the last of PPSSPP. It throws me a CFW error and it only remains to restart.

And Goldleaf when I try to move through its interface or exit being connected by USB to the PC sends me that error too.

I am in 7.1 using Kosmos and ReiNX these errors happen to me. I have not updated because the 8.x does not currently have support for some Kip I am using.

Will there be a problem with Atmosphere updates in low OS versions?

The Goldleaf error I havent come by - I guess, dont do that, then.. ;)
(And you might want to report it in the Goldleaf thread. :) )

On the Retroarch error - thats the "you dont have access to full RAM", or "you havent put the assets folders (part of retroarch packages - they already are "there" (folders called PPSSPP and mupen something in the system folder") behavior.

Most likely the first one. To combat that, atmosphere has switched around their entire HBL launch behavier to make it easier for people to launch any (f.e. commercial) NSP while holding R (R1 on a normal controller ;) ) while on it, to instead launch HBL with full ram access.

You can verify that by going into retroarchs system settings and looking for the RAM used/available number it shoudlt be 3/6 GB (might be written in bytes) for the system not to crash on mupen and PPSSPP, if its less than that - the system doesnt have full ram access - and those will crash.

Dont know ReiNX current behavior in that regard. If you need an .nsp that will always give you full ram access (and allow you to screen record videos without sound), you can install this .nsp: https://gbatemp.net/threads/homebrew-menu-loader-legal-nsp.518433/

But always remember, you are installing a non official .nsp here. Nintendo can ban you for that from online gaming. Thats why atmosphere and holding R while launching any (installed nsp) game, doing the same - is a thing. Most people should use/try it. :)

If its not those two things - back up saves, savestates cheats, configfiles, nuke config files make a fresh install. Shouldnt be necessary though.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Also this is one of the questions thats getting answered close to three dozen times in here by now.. Just saying.. Reading alongside a new development helps you and us out. :)

In Retroarch, first colomn information, system information, memory in bytes.

Dont use Album to launch HBL. Album is an application that will NEVER get full ram. If you think about it - why should atmosphere change its HBL launch behavior to "every installed .nsp (game) now launches HBL", when before the standard was to launch it via album?

Why change an entire default of the homebrew scene? To make it easier for doesnt read anything, posts smartphone cam videos, people like you. If you had read the first posting in the PPSSPP beta thread, but of course you didn't and pestered us with support requests instead. Oh, I needed to give you an answer on a theoretical question as well. Launching HBL via album will NEVER give it full ram access - which is the cause of your issue.

Now, count on intellectually challenged people to post videos where they are holding R - without having read, if ReiNX has implemented ("launch any installed game (nsp) while holding R, to launch HBL with full ram access"). That was your job - in the midst of which you would have also found out, that you cant use album.
I still dont know if ReiNX does anything, if you hold R launching an installed game (notice, thats not a game you have in your gamecard slot). Its the default behavior in Atmosphere now. Ask ReiNX folks. Which dont exist anymore - because the entire reason of that firmware was to fork an unreleased version of Atmosphere, give it Piracy support, and flog it with an anime starting screen on piracy webpages. After that it pronounced it self to be most easy firmware - while SX did so as well. I certainly dont use it, dont ask me anything about it - find out what it does yourself.

People posting videos, holding R, while staring at goats.

Complaining, they cant find System Information in retroarch. Or read they first posting in the PSP Beta thread. Oh they so lost. Please give them personalized help. All they've got is smartphone camera and service wish..

If I have to watch ANY more videos of "support me now" people "doing stuff", so I can do the thinking for them - I'll call them names, I swear it.

Handy cam - but doesnt read.

Oh the information about the HBL launcher .nsp that always gives you full ram access regardless of what you do with it (hold R or not be on whatever firmware), entirely ignored of course. The warning, that installing .nsps can make Nintendo ban you was enough information - for you to do nothing with that information, and have us guessing - if you've understood it - or decided against it (which is legitimate). Its just as if we havent wrote it.

I tell you...

Ok, calm down me - most people in this forum are 12 years old... They still could learn critical thinking, or logic.

What have you smoked ?.

I already probe Retroarch for his NSP and follow the problem.

It is not capable of emulating anything. I have already tried with old versions of AMS before the 8.x came out and the problem continues. Lakka is the only one that emulates me N64, but it is very slow and little supported already.

If you will not help me better or talk so much haha
