Still at my friends house but I just spent $13 on two things:

and a slim lite-on dvd drive.

The 60$ speakers were only 3$, and they sound great. Theres a little hole in one of the meshes but for $3 these are the best speakers I ever bought. I'm gonna spray paint the exterior black.

10$ for the lite-on drive... it was made in 2003 but I already burned a few cds and it works great.

Oh nice deal... None of my friends would sell things like that since they know nothing about computers... All they know is what their OS is and Microsoft Office. They make it sound like they know lots , but once you talk to them about Processors, Hard Drives and RAM, they'll be lost xD

Oh, I didn't buy it from my friend, there is a garage sale next door and there was a BUNCH of stuff on sale. There was a laser printer for $25 but I ran out of money. My friend got 3 power strips for a dollar and a pentium 4 desktop for $20 (which he will resell)

I wouldn't go as far as to call myself a tech expert, but I know what many things are in terms of computers. I usually pity the couple of friends I have who aren't the slightest tech savvy, they usually just sit there and watch while everyone else talks about technology...
