Emulator?

Man the switch 1 really made people naive.

1. The console has not even been hacked in any meaningful way.

2, There exists no game dumps

3. Nobody outside of those with official documentation knows how the switch 2 even works, Unlike the switch 1 this is a custom SoC with custom APIs.

You get past those 3 things then you start talking about maybe making an emulator. But due to the actions of yuzu and ryujinx you now have a legal minefield to navigate, Nintendo now has evidence to show in a court that despite what everyone else says the cold hard truth is that an emulator existing for a current console means it will mostly be used for piracy.

I honestly don't think Sony vs Connectix would help in the modern day. 1999 was a very different time and if I remember correctly the official retail version of VGS required the use of authentic ps1 discs and they clean room dissassmbled and reverse engineered and reimplementerd the ps1 bios. Modern consoles have so much digital encryption and proprietary formats aand other nonsense you'd likely lose and end up setting a dangerous precedence.
