Sure, there are several things that can be improved in Emu4vita++, for example a database so that arcade games show the name of the game instead of the rom.

I will try to report problems or suggestions on my own, but I speak Spanish and it is a bit difficult for me to explain myself, maybe you who speak English can report more easily, you just need a github account and write in the issues section.
Yeah, I don't speak English either... I'm from Asia.
I recommend only reporting irregularities or suggestions that are possible, systems that are at least playable in retroarch so that they have a version in Emu4vita for example Atari ST, Amiga, Sharp x68000.

I think that the Emu4vita dev only includes retroarch cores in his front end, he is not directly in charge of improving or optimizing the cores, he has to use old versions of cores that are broken for example, for these cases it would be easier to contact each core developer and see if he can fix it in his PS Vita version but there doesn't seem to be much interest.
Long shot but any plans for Sega Saturn support? Yabasanshiro seems like a decent core, also Microsoft MSX I use the PSP version but a standalone native PS Vita version would be nice, I grew up with the MSX way back.
About java games in jar format the emu pspkvm was never ported to retroarch, but there is hope that the squirrel jme core will finally work in retroarch according to its creator at the end of this year or beginning of next year.
Not the most elegant solution but J2ME games do run on the PS Vita via Adrenaline and pspkvm.

pspkvm is very instable and crash very often, a native vita port would be great. psp over adrenalin is the same when you try n64, its very bad

testing V4 dosbox
need home button for exit, not for sub setting menu, because of freeze. ! must stop testing.
otherwise was somehow working...

@ sonictopfan :
sega saturn, so far I know only PS4 can emulate it, its the most difficulty console. I want enemy zero saturn, do you get it to work ?

I'm unfamiliar with that game but I played a lot of Sega Saturn back in the day, afaik Saturn emulation on the Switch via the Cotton collection (zebra emulator) is quite decent and most games run at full speed but I haven't tested it myself as I'm yet to get to hacking my Nintendo Switch at some point.

Oh yeah? Well DAMN YOU TO HELL!!! :shit:
No need to be angry or anything, he just shared something which he thought was worthwhile. Even if he didn't make it if it wasn't for him I bet many people, me included, wouldn't even know about.
Nowhere in the forum it says the creator of the thread needs to be the creator of a project. Believe it or not some people don't know about gbatemp so this kind of threads are necessary sometimes

@sonictopfan I guess now you saw why sometimes a little info is needed (I never meant to berate or be rude, just to inform)

I finally got around testing the standalone MAME 2003 Plus emulator earlier and... maybe it's a streak of bad choices of games but the only game I tested that did work was Battletoads, will do more testing later.

I really wish for a MSX emulator.

Yeah, I've got a TON of MAME games that work fine on my computer, but don't work in any of the MAME emulators for the Vita. Oh well, you take the bitter with the sweet.

...FUCK.

All games work, just use the correct romset for each core and then in MAME 2003 and 2003+ run a working game and in core options disable cyclone and voila all the games that were crashing will now work, it seems that Emu4vita++ does not support individual configurations, a change of anything like core options or controls is applied to all games in the core.

I forgot that MAME cores also have a problem where if you load a game and then close it to load another one, the app crashes. You have to go back to arch or completely close Emu4vita++ every time you want to change games. For now, that's how it is. I'll try to report this problem on github.
