Hacking Elink 1G save problem

Hello

i'm new on this board, and i'm french (excuse for my poor english)

i have a game boy micro and a elink 1g (black cart)

i've installed elink software v6.01 (update service)
and i run with vista

cart firmware v3.3

when i plug the cart, it is recognize by vista
i can burn rom
it work
i can save (sms)

after reboot, i've a message with sms saving ... do not power off
and freeze

after re-reboot, it works, but no save are here...

have you got an idea ??

drivers don't work for vista. they are for xp only.

Everyone has spotty success with vista and windows 7.

if driver won't work on vista, why i can burn game and play with vista ?


it's only sms saving system, which is my problem

have i to charge the card before (+-8hrs) ? or it's a legend ??

I never found the sms to work properly. All I would get is a blank file when dumping to the comp.

Same thing with the EFA-Linker Simple

keep dreaming, I got 3 of these things and they all do the same thing.

besides, nobody sells them anymore, they stopped making them.

FYI 512Mb ver uses regular battery, 1G ver uses rechargeable

I do use xp for Elink, never got sms problem until now, maybe you have to update the ELINK Boot ?

Garcimak==> can you tell me if your version is 512mg or 1gb ?
what is the software version you use ? 6.0 ? 6.01? or older ?
i' try with windows xp too, but same result...

now i have
game boy jingle,
and a blank screen, my elink card, won't boot ....

i try to contact my seller for guarantee

Updates are new to me coz no need to flash since last summer, they were still at "ELINKSetupV39A.zip". I just checked my elink, it's a 1gb version, my saves are still there. I whish you luck with yours.
