Hacking Efa linker simple battery change.

the efa-linker ii aka efa linker simple (jandaman)
seems to work 100% except the battery is dead, does anyone think that i can just put a battery from any other gba game in there?

i bought march of penguins for 75cents today, and i think i might give it a go,

on the other hand
jandaman wants to send me a new one, which i fear, since manufacturede in 2007, will just be a dead battery as well...

i just wanna get a sram on the stupid thing for long eenought to migrate pokemon lol

It means the game uses flash for saving data, rather than SRAM which requires a battery to power.


You can do the black tape method for putting in a new battery.

Except GBA games all save using Flash.
The games with batteries in them are for Real-Time Clock.

For the first part he mean all games that use flash do not require a battery.

Games that use SRAM also require the battery or you lose your data without a battery.
