Hacking Editing Save Data?

I've managed to copy my Save data to my computer, and I can open it up with my hex editor, but how do I change the data? What are the patterns to the confusing language, or can it somehow be translated? Help would be nice.

If you copy it from the wii system menu
you wont be able to edit it before decrypting it

it's better to use wanikoko's savegame extractor to retrieve the save
the files will be unencrypted

the game saves varies on different games
some may have checksum and some may not
it's a bit of a trial and error process

just make sure to backup your original save

Doesn't the save need to be encrypted afterwards? If so, that would require certain keys. As of right now, it seems that Team Twiizers and Datel are the only ones who can sign the saves, other than Nintendo, of course.

actually the saves aren't encrypted in the NAND
it is only encrypted when you copy it to the SD
therefore using wanikoko's tool
you can obtain raw save files

I have my raw save file... I just don't know what to do with it.

I also have that Brawl 100% save hack, if it's in a different than the normal save files obtained with the Save-installer-thingy.
