Hacking DSTwo not detecting

I've got two DSTwo's, one won't show up (it's like nothing is inserted), how can I fix this?

Would a replacement case work (like a normal DS game shell) ?

did ya check contacts? are you trying on a old ds?

there is a paper trick, do you know how it is done?
you stick a piece of paper to force the contacts getting closer there is a post somwhere on gbatemp, you can search about it. i never needed\done it so i can't tell you exactly how you put the paper...

I've tried the paper trick in the past to no avail.

try to open the card, and stick a piece of paper just behind the contacts and close it again
