Hi, I got a 3ds XL and DSTWO a few days ago and have been loving playing the classic pokemon games and some mario games as well.

I've been playing a lot of GBA and using NDSGBA. There are a few problems with this emulator like screen size not stretching full screen, cheat's not working at all - tried MANY different methods, binding buttons for fast forward and also no sound during fast forward.

They aren't really too bad, but I was just wondering if there is another emulator out there that would do the job better. I found one on these forums named "gbaemu4ds" but it's for DS and it says it can't read .gba files? Well anyways, I was just hoping there is something else that also works with DSTWO.

Also, another question is why did all the development stop for 3ds games after patch 4.5?

What exactly did Nintendo do that will never allow anything above firmware 4.5 to play 3ds roms with these chips?

Are there are ways to hardware mod the 3ds so it can play 3ds roms?

Oh man thank you so much. Just started using TempGBA, it's so much better!
There is a bind button for fast forward and a whole bunch of other shortcuts and the game even runs smoother!!
