I'm new at posting on these boards so sorry if I have posted this in the wrong section and I searched for the topic but couldn't find it.
I was on the DSi browser about an hour ago and the DSi froze, it would not turn off or go into standby when i folded it up.
I'm going to wait until the power runs out and will see what happens when it is charged and turns back on, but for now I don't know what to do.
Any help on how to fix this would be appreciated.

I do use a flashcart (if that changes anything)

take the battery out and wait half an hour then put it back and try again
Sorry for noob question, but is that safe to do, could you damage it more by doing that?

Oh god, I bet you were born in the year 1995, right? No, you won't damage it by removing the battery.

Yeah I was

, couldn't think of a decent name lol. Anyways will wait until the power runs out first and will then charge and turn it on.
If that doesn't work, will try removing the battery.
Thanks for the responses.

I had it too in the musicplayer. I opened a musicfile that was corrupted(something went wrong while I copied music) and it crashed. I just removed the batter and I have no damage.

It hapened to me too all you have to do is let the battery run out. No need to remove battery.
I had when i was done updating my dsi lol
