Misc DS wifi error

There's probably millions of these threads, but anyway.
I'm getting error code 51300 when I use wep key on my wireless router. If I turn wep key thing off, ds wifi works fine.

Is it that DS doesn't support wep key or am I just doing something wrong? Every other device works fine with it. (ps3, laptop , wii, psp etc.)

Did you input the WEP key into the DS's WiFi options? You have to do that for the DS to know what the WEP is. You should be able to access options to set it with any WiFi enabled game.

Yes I did. I had the same problem with my old ds, so it probably has something to do with the router. dunno.

doesn't the wii require 802.11N ? i could have sworn i read that somewhere. the nds only works on 802.11b (or b/g mode routers). have you confirmed that the wep key is working on other devices on your network? if yes - then try removing the wep key, making a new one and updating the router settings. then add the new key into your nds after it finds your ssid on the network.
