DS screen broken

I just turned on my DS and the top screen isn’t working properly, is there a known and or easy fix? It starts blank but then forms black lines slowly. I’ll try to send a picture.

Ribbon cable has become loose from the connector. You'll have to either clip it back in, or, replace the screen entirely.

What happens when you move the screen while the console is switched on?

If the picture on the top screen changes as you move it - the top screen ribbon cable is faulty and the top screen would need to be replaced.
