After repairing my DS Lite(Had a broken hinge), the DS Lite doesn't stay on anymore.
That is, after i turn it on, it shuts off in a few seconds.
Occasionally, it manages to show the logo and reach the menu before shutting off.

it would not get to the menu if it were the fuse

The part shown about 22 seconds in?
yep, that's the one. i'm thinking it may be loose and movement is making it come out when the ds is powered on (would explain why it shuts off at different times)

from what i've experienced with blown fuses on the ds (ds phat and dsi) the console will either whitescreen and shutoff or not power on at all if it's a blown fuse, it would not sometimes boot into the menu and then power off and sometimes poweroff before the menu

well i dont know, but to the original poster check the ribbon cable then if that doesn't work do the fuse check and see if the light blinks doesn't hurt to try.

Just in case it happens to be a fuse problem(Unsure, because i just tried a few more times and it shuts off immediately, doesn't even reach the logo), is there a way to resolve it?

there are alot of videos that show how to fix a fuse the easiest way is to use a circuit pen(found a youtube video on it somewhere) if you are not confident with a solder.

either replace them (tricky) or bridge the points where the fuse was (easy but unsafe) either way will require you to whip out a soldering iron, though

edit: this link may help you if it is a blown fuse: http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/threads/9...on-(blown-fuse)
