and you havent had an m3 for 8 months but now they release atleast 1 update every week so we always have 100% compatibility

Yeah... Just, That copyprotection games etc..?

Well, they can be patched... in time.

I today ordered a new microSD and Acekard2i as preparation.

I will maybe get DSi in near future, and maybe M3 as secondary...

At moment it was only price - 12USD for acekard was sure hit as "in preparation" for it.

I am well aware that at least not with sakura there is no 100% compability (or does copy protection bypassing count as 110% - it could, it is not like that is required straight)
Currently all three rom launchers in M3 have 100% compatibility

If it is so I may well get M3 zero some time after I get DSi, I presume.

Just to test if nothing else

I don't like the M3 also because it messes up your carts. They release a new firmware update and it always has a huge problem like Save curroptions, RTS/Cheats do not work on any game, and other crap. Anyways you made a good choice getting the Acekard 2i. And no the M3 doesn't play every game, it actually does but it freezes in some parts of the game.

I would recommend the Ak2i,mainly because of AKAIO and the many people on GBAtemp who recommend it. I myself have had an m3i Zero,I like sakura and everything, but the only problem that I had was,you had to update every once in a while with mine,so if you go on a long trip with it,its likely to stop working, unless you bring a laptop with you,and update it via the flashing cable, and if you do get an M3 i,be very careful with the flashing process,i screwed up the process and now it won't work.

Okay.

So, I at moment am looking maybe to get M3i Zero in future.
But for now I am ok I think. DSi XL releases in europe 5th or march (around the time I was planning to pick up new DSi system for myself) So I may go with that.

Too bad that acekard does not have official patch for 1.4 even though unofficial one is alright too...

I do not get flashing the M3i all the time - I get that the boot sequence flash etc. needs to be updated if DSi update breaks booting flashcart, but all the time? it has been year over the release where there was 4 updates, and one broke compability what was fixed in hacker end fast.

Unless I am missing something.

Anyway, yeah. I may get M3i zero but mostly for the hype year(s) ago I know acekard to be at least satisfactionary. M3 is alright I guess, but M3 can wait.

I wont BS with you I only read the first post.

I recently got a DSi, I knew nothing about any of this. Asked a friend what I needed and was told to get the M3i Zero. I haven't been happier. I was able to get it up and running in less then five minutes. I have no knowledge at all about any DSi stuff at all, but They couldn't have made the setup any easier. I still don't know what all I can and can not do with this thing but, I do know that I had movies and games running almost immediately after opening the Zero.

I may not get Super Card for only GBA reason. Since there is small change I save my old DS system what has 3in1 and thus perfect GBA play.

And at moment I care somewhat more about the NDS gameplay before newfangled GBA emulation.
