Hacking DS-Link English version?

when I have both DS-link + slot2 card in my ds lite, i cannot access the ds-link, unless i take out my slot2 card

Did you try holding down "select+start" when turning on your DS?

I Just received mine. Start and select together seem to only do the same thing as holding select, IE boots the DS menu.
When you are in the DS menu the DS-Link does not show up.

Castlevania intro ran nearly perfect of my 512MB Kingston Micro-SD I'd give it a 4 out of 5.
I'll report more about mine after I've played some more.

I got mine from Hopebuy and it didnt come in a tin. Its the english version.
