Homebrew DS functionality is broken (New2DS XL).

I have white screen and closing app in any DS apps. My 3DS was not hacked. Firmware version 11.09.0-42Е. I can install TWLFix-CWF on not hacked console via homebrew?

You need CFW. Also, there's more pluses to installing CFW than minuses. as long as you don't use cheats in online games, (e.g, mario kart 7) you'll be fine.

also, TWLFix-CFW works by deleting certain files from the TWLNand partition on the system, then closes. after that, just preform a system update.

also, if you DO have access to hbl through SteelHax, then I'm 9000% sure that the DS/i functionality broke because you did something funky with it. so technically, you hacked you system. just install CFW. it's WAYYYY safer, too. (and easter!)

Dang, well the only way to fix this is to get THIS flashcart, and then proceed with NTRBoot.

Yes, only one of those will help. I recommend NTRBoot. the cart I linked comes Pre-flashed with ntrboot. (Just open it up, and flip the switch!)

No, but you can still use NTRboot.

you're welcome! to activate NTRBoot, open the flashcart, (it's easy to do it on purpose) and there should be a switch in side. flip it. put the shell back on and it should work! (if a DS game shows up in the cartridge icon on the HOME menu, then you need to try again.)

NTRboot will not fix broken DS(i) mode if your 3DS is already hacked with custom firmware. Even if yours was stock, you wouldn't be able to reflash that cart into ntrboot mode as that requires a working TWL_FIRM.

Try the older method of fixing DS(i) mode by installing the five (5) CIA system titles and then to do a system update to download latest TWL_FIRM.

Borrow another (o/n)(2/3)DS(i)(XL/lite/phat) with working DS(i) mode that can reflash that cart with ntrboot.
