Is there an editor for the American DS Download Station roms?
I have some official demos and want to compile my own selection.

If possible, I also want to edit the advertisement while it's downloading a demo.

Please, anyone! thanx

Different ones - and maybe even more than usual, yeah!

The ROMs are compressed, IIRC it was yet another LZ77 implementation. You'd have to extract and decompress the boot stub to edit the warning, good luck with that.

Someone out there must have released the source to their LZ77 compression routine, though. I've written a packer that doesn't actually do any compression, and I'd like to have one that makes the whole process worthwhile, but it sounds prohibitively complicated.

The "yellowstar" user at GBAdev has been doing a lot of work recently on Download Play images and other ad-hoc stuff. I haven't been following it too closely, but it's worth a look.

I see.
Hmm yelowstar seems to be working on japanese downloads though... the american download stations are much different

It's really a shame there is no compressor/editor available.
It would be a damn cool homebrew app!!

It's pointless, as you will only be able to send signed demos anyway, unless the receiving DS has been flashme'd.
Huh? Why pointless?
I ONLY want to send signed demos. I'm not interested in sending homebrew.
