I was playing a GBA game on my DS when the screen suddenly froze and started to fade to white. I turned it off took out the game and turned it back on and the LED turns on but there's nothing on either screen and there's no sound to indicated it's booting. Does anyone know how this happened?

Blown fuse maybe?

What hardware were you using at the time? Anything else "unusual" happen before the screen when white?

It was a DS lite and I had just turned it on loaded the game (Megaman Battle Network) I was just about to do the second training thing when it died. I'm going to send it in the have Nintendo repair it. Is it possible that my EZ Flash shorted it or will it be safe to use when I get it repaired?

Just tried turning on my DS after letting it sit for a few days and it seems to be working fine. Has anyone else heard of something like this happening?

Yeah I was playing Pokemon LeafGreen when that happen to me and that's was like when I was in the 11th grade. I heard glitch noises but I ignore it then it started to sound extremely glitchy.
At first, I cut the power off then cut it back on to resume from my saving point. Beyond the game can start it froze on the 'Gameboy Nintendo' screen. So I repeat and now my DS is glitch. I left it alone till the next day and it started working fine.

Water damage? Perhaps after you let it sit for a few days the water or whatever liquid dried off and it starts working again.
