Gaming Dragon Quest XIS Demo save files

Hi, just a quick question:

I don´t want to go online with my Switch as it is currently on Atmosphere CFW. So I downloaded the DQ XI demo. Now I am wondering, considering that this is an 8 hour demo - Will I be able to transfer the save files to the full version of DQ later without going online? Or will I have to replay all of it?

Apparently we are meant to be able to. With a hacked version, im sure the community will figure out how to do it if its not as simple as reinstalling the full game.
