Apart from the general new screens released today, a new detail has arisen in regards to Dragon Quest IX- the inclusion of only one save slot. I'm not 100% sure, but all Dragon Quest games I've ever played have had 3 save slots. Why the change? I kind of like the convenience of having three save slots. In the case of Dragon Quest 5, multiple stories were possible, meaning more than one save slot was quite the convenience. Dunno.

Anyways, some new screens-

Maybe due to the size of the save? Perhaps the older games didn't have very large save files, I can't remember how large the file was for Dragon Quest 8.

Seeing all of the content packed into this game though, I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't needed a large save file, especially with all the variables.

Edit: Looks good though!

I do, considering that sometimes my saves "corrupt" if I turn off my flashcart too quickly after saving

Also, there's hardly any content worth a save too large to store >.>

@War, I'd say that this alone may or may not be news worthy. But it was my luck that some new screens were released, so I took the opportunity to post both the screens and the news.

I personally think it's news worthy considering that every Dragon Quest I've personally played has had 3 save slots. I hate it when there is only one slot to save. People without flashcards are out of luck because they can't even backup their save file and create a new one (so not to have their data erased). It's just a bit annoying and weird that they wouldn't include 3 slots. So yes, 100% news worthy. Especially for us really big DQ fans.

i see many games which have graphics resembling tht of PoP 2008 (whatever it is called), i the sense tht the character models and the environment dont match well like tht is SaGa and the tough guy in pic 2
P.S - Many ppl flood the forums with useless posts (points at self), so topics with some significance is good
