follow the sticky guides to softmodding a virgin Wii. Once you have cIOS installed the rest is optional... just use DoP-IOS MOD version 8 or 9 (and choose IOS249) to install a non-stubbed IOS60 then system menu 4.1.

i think you should be ok to downgrade from 4.2 to 4.1. ive downgraded from 4.1 to 4.0 before, but im not sure if its different in this case. just install bootmii as boot2, make a nand backup and reinstall your nand if anything goes wrong. just make sure you install an older version of IOS60 before you install SM4.1

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
