no way

a PC that can run Wii games at full speed is definitely more expensive than Wii

also, no online and many great games run slow...

yeah. why spend so much on a PC just to emulate the wii while you could buy the real thing at a cheaper price.

Wait - wouldnt that be saying "wouldnt it be better to go and buy a SNES instead of emulating it on your Wii? Just because your Wii can emulate doesnt mean you should."

Some of us have PC's that can run Dolphin already - so no need to go and buy anything , it already works

Well pc gamers would have a computer that can easily run the emulator
i have a q9400 with a 9800gtx+ and it runs steady at 60 fps
too bad its a little outta date tho i want one of those 5970s lol

Plus its more convinient than going out a buying a wii

Well, IF you have a VERY fast PC with Bluetooth and the Emu is developed further so that ALL games ru at full speed, Dolphin is definitely better:

+ runs at a higher resolution
+ maybe higher FPS
+ you can add AA and AF
+ funtions like fast-forward, savestate, and slow-motion
+ cheating is easier
+ Online is also possible (if the devs add it in later revisions)
+ You can connect it to your TV, too
+ faster loading times (now obsolete because of USB loaders for Wii)

- configuration
- cables you have connect between PC and TV
- more expensive (only applies if don't already own a powerful PC for PC games)
- compatibility (I doubt ALL games will work)

Anyone else think that Dolphin will be able to be better than Wii in about 6 months? The emulator is already good and its progress is going rapidly.

Dolphin for me plays very well, yes i have a decent gaming PC, and it is good to be able to replay some of my old favourite games again, but better than the Wii in 6 months?

no, i doubt that will happen

Dolphin is damned impressive to be sure, and it's getting better all the time with each new build.
Sure there are graphical issues at the moment, but these will be resolved with time, won't they?

I think I fell in love with the fact you can change the camera angle of anything, anywhere too.

...It's not perfect, but they'll fix it.
