Dolphin emulator question

Hi. I got my new asus rog laptop with an i7 6700hq 16gh ram and gtx 1060 3gb gpu
I tried to run mario kart double dash. It runs at 60fps but theres a minor problem there. When openong the menus the audio freezes a bit like for 1 second or even less.
This really annoys me as i was expecting no lag with this laptop at gamecube games.
What are the best settings i can choose for dolphin and whay video backend is recommended.

Btw my laptop is on High Performance power plan.

It is better to ask the developer at Dolphin forum. They can give you the best answer, you know.
