So, some prototype works have lead to actual games.

I really want a Zelda Maker game on Switch. I'm already excited that RPG Maker Fes is coming to North America this summer!

If there is ever a zelda maker, it will only be 2d like the first one not 3d like n64, but a 2D maker based on zelda 2 could be funny idea. :P
I know that. SMM only used 2D Mario assets from SMB1, SMB3, SMW, and NSMBU.

ZM would use assets from LoZ, ALTTP, LADX/OoS/OoA, TMC, and ALBW.

"2D prototype used to test ideas for Zelda: Breath of the Wild."

I think we sooner would see a Super Mario Maker 2 than a Zelda Maker.

Maybe we'll see a Zelda Maker in 2021, in time for the 35th anniversary of the first LoZ. SMM came out on the 30th anniversary of the first SMB.

Maybe, then again, it isn't many versions you really can do that is easy to do a "maker" of. It's more or less just Zelda 1, Zelda 2, A Link to the Past and maybe the GB(X) games and DS once. The rest is 3D and much harder to implement in to a maker.

TMC and ALBW would defiantly be included. I think ZM would be way more complex than SMM because you're designing both the overworld and dungeons, instead of just linear side scrolling stages.

I doubt AoL would be included since SMM didn't include SMB2. Those sequels play differently than their prequels and sequels.
