Hacking Does R4 gold works OK on 11.0 ?

Pretty much tittle. I'm planning on get a R4 flashcard for some DS games and was wondering if the gold is ok to grab since I found some of them on cheap prices. I'm a9lh if that matters at all.

Also, will it need any config? Never used one on the DS times.

It will work on Luma3DS, but if it's the original R4 you'll need to use the stage2 launcher

R4i Gold from R4IDS.cn works fine for me on 11.0.

I dont know if its the original or not, will link it, its on portuguese but I believe the images will be enough.

If it's on Cakes you'll just need to use the nightlies with TWL_FIRM patches or patch TWL_FIRM yourself.

Also the one you linked will work with just the slot1 launcher.

So do I need to patch the TWL firm (or use the nightly) and then use the slot1 launcher or will it work with just the launcher? Sorry for kinda stupid question but I'm not sure by reading your answer.
