Erm, I don't think you understand what I meant here - I was replying to one suggesting running code through the gamecard (much like the Nintendo DS flashcarts of old) as an alternative to the current way of running homebrew. Such people would not have SX OS, Atmosphère or anything of the sort.

I wasn't in the 3ds scene early enough but I think luma derived from reinand somewhere along the lines, dont quote me on that though

That is correct. Luma began as a ReiNand mod, then became it's own thing.

Yes, Luma has code from ReiNAND and Cakes, but most is original Luma code now
