Hardware DIY GC Memory card to SD

I read people talking about doing it, can it be done? Couldn't find a guide. If anyone can tell me i'd appreciate it. It said you need a memory card and SD reader (both of which i own)

AR is needed for the Wii (currently the only way to start HB). AR is but one option for the GC. For the rest that's pretty much it yea
