All my downloaded software has disappeared after I updated Luma 3DS from v6.6 to the latest version.

Originally, I have downloaded plenty of games on my 3DS, but right after I updated the Luma 3DS, they are just all gone and cannot be found on the home menu. How can I make them appear on the home menu again? Please help as I do not want to download them again...

So u updated from a9lh to b9s?

this happened to someone else. I think it was @alexander1970 . it's the latest luma that's the problem. whatever bug is causing this it seems to involve luma anyway, because I think he too only updated luma, then all games gone. it's probably a ticket problem. can you revert back or reflash the NAND?

Yes I did. I just followed the instructions from “3ds.hacks.guide” and then when I rebooted the 3DS all installed softwares were gone, including CFW softwares and games.

So it is Luma’s problem? Since I am new to 3DS hacking, could you explain how to revert back or refresh the NAND?

put an older luma boot.firm on the sd card. reflashing the NAND -- go to godmode, scripts, then select the NAND one. restore the NAND (safe), select this one. to get into godmode, hold start as you power on the system. you do have a NAND backup from before you updated luma, right?

your post is what made me hesitant to update. I updated luma and twilight menu a week or two ago, and I encountered no issues. were you able to fix it or figure out what had happened?

Unfortunately, since I was seemingly the only one with the Issue,no Idea what happened.
It could have be an "coincidence" (personally I do not belief in such Things..) or as many Users pointed to an bad SD Card.
For me,it can not be the SD Card,I still use it and have no Issues until this Day.
Also I tried 3 different Cards.
So,I am sorry,I can not say what happened. The only Thing, that is for sure,@TurdPooCharger wonderful Manuals helped me to get my 3DS back.

Thank you.:)

Well, the reason I updated Luma is because my version cannot run godmode9, so I did not backup my NAND before updating. I totally did not expect all my softwares would disappear. Is there any alternative solution?

If there is really no solutions, should I try using another sd card instead?

Game data are not important to me since I can always create a new one again.

If you read my Posts from the Link above, there are enough Solutions.
Also trying another SD Card is one.
You can check the Cards with H2testw of Errors, please do it 2-3 Times.:)

Thank you.:)

Update after about 9 months:
It turns out that it was neither my micro sd card’s problem nor Luma’s problem. My 3DS had created another <ID1> folder in the <Nintendo3DS> folder after I updated Luma. I have deleted the old <ID1> folder to release the 40gb occupied by the old games and reinstalled all the games. It was not a problem that I want to face again.

That was an issue for me when upgrading my SD, I had to rename the folder. I'm not sure why I had to rename it, and other people don't. But renaming the id1 folder would have probably saved you the trouble. Sorry that's not much help now

copypaste: "The first random number is a specific NAND key, so they should be different if your NANDs are unlinked, or the same if your NANDs are linked. The second random number is related to the SD card itself."

Well, during this 9 months, I’ve already reinstalled all the games, so on the good side, I can make use of that 40gb space to download more games.^_^

I have same thing but after i add new game and in some situations they completely absent from home menu even after opening eshop
