I meant those early trailers, not actual gameplay

that site you posted shows the difference though with physx though

yeah, but pre-rendered videos are always like that. and when it's come to real game play... hmmm...
btw, I got a nvidia one but it doesn't look like a fair play even to me.
they've got no rights to limit our gaming experiences.

yea, thats what happens with coperate buyouts...
nvidia just throws money at everything to be biased in their way
they havnt actually done anything innovative since the unveiled the 8800 series
and keep recyling the same card over again to trick people into thinking they are upgrading and giving them more money
ex. 8000 and 9000 series are the same, as well as one card from the 200 series, GTS250 is the same as 9800GTX+ and is also the same as the 8800GTS G92

but anyway us ATI users can still get some phxys anyway, just emulated on the CPU
I dont know if a physx card would still work now for new games if you can track one down
but there are still hope for a new technology, intel is working with havok and ati is very favoable for havok, and there also OpenCL

I remember reading a while ago somewhere that one could install a hack to make PhysX run on ATI GPUs (not CPU emulation as Joe88 mentioned). I've never tried it since I have an NVIDIA card but if I had an ATI card you bet I would be using it. I can't help you beyond that but Google might be able to.
Here's an article about it: http://www.tomshardware.com/news/nvidia-physx-ati,5764.html

Used it many many times

And yes some driver cleaners can be a pain in the ass , if you checked the link you can see that this one is rather straight forward.

If you dont understand the difference between graphics and system drivers you should indeed steer clear from most programs that allow you to "clean".

I tend to use it when i get to change to update my Nvidia display drivers ..

Bought Mirror's Edge yesterday for £15, and since I've started playing it I can't say you really notice the lack of PhysX when you're travelling at speed. First time when I tried to keep it on however, it did really slow down when windows were shattering, so I quickly turned it off.
Honestly don't think we're missing much here which is good.
