ok, so i bought a super cheap directinput controller but some games, such as rocket league, don't support it.
So I searched the issue, and i found out some programs like Xoutput. Yeah, they work perfectly but is there a way to turn directinput into xinput without any programs running in the background?

Now I know it's demanding but, I'm just asking if it's possible. No pressure whatsoever.

Best solution I've found is to buy one of these:
https://aliexpress.com/item/4000089712122.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.d1c45ff5C2lETu

And then use it with a PS3 or PS4 or Xbox One Controller.

It allows you to switch between XInput, DInput and Mac input on the fly (select and direction key held down for a few seconds), which not only solves all control issues (games like "Where the Water Tastes Like Wine" or "Cloudpunk" dont like XInput f.e. but work flawlessly with Mac Input), but it also solves all issues with the XInput controller not being detected correctly, because a game expected you to connect it before you ran the executable, or after you ran the executable, ... ;) Because switching modes (I switch between Xinput und PSClassic - and then back, usually) basically is seen by games as 'unplugging and replugging' the controller - which solves those issues as well. With you remaining seated on the couch. ;)

So sorry - no help for the controller you bought, but this is the 'optimal' solution - imho. :) And you should be able to acquire a PS3 controller for not that much money as well (or an Xbox One Controller, or a PS4 controller). (Have all of those, mostly play on the Xbox One Controller - btw.)

Info on how to switch - and a little better illustration of what I'm talking about:

never mind that because a whole new problem arised.
OK, now I don't mind the Xoutput running in background at all. BUT guess what happened, the R1 button (button 6) is COMPLETELY stuck, even though it's not stuck physically, it presses fine but virtually its' stuck

Any ideas?
(also yes I hardly pressed the face buttons one time, and it worked, but now it's stuck again)

EDIT: Now every button has a huge delay. Damn it.
