It would be easier to use wondercard injection via web browser direcrly or dump save via ram2sav to SD card then inject wondercard there.
However, this only works on o3ds (9.0-9.5 sysnand) so you will need to use one for this

From what I know, the gift codes check the game carts region, not the console. Japanese carts use Japanese codes, European carts use European codes ext. If you need help, I could pokegen which ever ones you wanted. I'll leave my friend code.

pkhex allows for importing wc6 files
sciresm made a wc6 editor

so those 2 combined allow for injecting wc6 files on any 'main' save file for pokemon (so CGSE format)... Which is basically all homebrew/CFW save dumping options.

If you are using a cfw like rxTools you are able to use savedatafiler to dump your save and edit via pkhex on your PC, even injecting event pokemons directly on it.
Then you have just to reinsert your SD back to your 3ds, reboot it and inject the modded save via savedatafiler. This is compatible even with 10.5 fw

I do know that, but (personally) i like it to redeem the codes i aqquire etc haha, and i was hoping i could spoof it in some way or another.

Edit 2: I think you can do it with emunand + NTR, someone else / project pokemon should know more about it.

It's super easy, I used NTR to redeem Japanese codes for the recent XYZ event.

This can all be done from the 3DS itself using CTRXplorer, or on a PC if you prefer.

You simply create a folder in the plugin directory with the TitleID of the game you'll be using to redeem the code (this can be obtained from 3dsdb). You then copy NTR's Japanese language plugin into that folder.

All that's left to do is to boot your game, and redeem your code.
