Ok, I have all 3 backup loaders... and can't remember which is which, lol

I have the HBC one (I know that's Waninkoko's leaked version)

The gold disc'd channel with longer sound file, and the red banner geckOS

The blue'ier channel with the small sound file, and blue banner geckOS

Which is the true WiiGator 0.1, and what is the other one?

Ok, so the blue banner is the best to use...

But I kinda like the red topped Channel picture and sounds more, lol

Will start using hookfix more now... seems better compatibility since i've been checking between the two...

Wonder if it'll be against the rules to want to send my old "patched" discs to someone if they pay for shipping once 0.3 comes out, lol

Unpack both the Red and Blue's wad (if you can)

Delete the 001.app in the Red wad.

Move the 001.app thats in the Blue's wad over to Red.

Repack Red and enjoy!

good point... might just take the dive into wad packing/unpacking with this... my luck though, I'll brick my wii, lol

There is no chance of bricking if all your doing is unpacking and repacking.

The banner/icon isnt being touched at all. (000.app = banner/icon/sound)

Its safer just to move the .dol / .elf (001.app) over than to move the banner/icon/sound (000.app)

Sounds interesting... I've never touched into it because of what I read about "banner bricking"

I had a look at it and the instructions are pretty good though confusing when you first try it until you actually give it a go and it starts to make a bit of sense.
It sounds like it would be easy enough to do really so worth a shot giving it a try.

You only need to unpack the wad with the channel.
Then take your "BlueLoader.dol" rename it as 00000001.app and copy and override the file in the folder of the extracted wad. Then repack the WAD.

That is the easiest method, but I wasnt sure if he had the .dol/.elf files. I thought he only had the .wad files.
