Whoa. When I put A9LH on my O3DS, I just updated it in system settings, and everything is fine.

I was planning on doing my N3DSXL on Monday, but this is making me question the wisdom of that. Seems like you did everything right and got a brick.

Let me add I did it, and it went without a hitch. Proud master race member now.

I got a NEW 3DS XL with firmware version 10.6, downgraded it, installed a9lh and everything worked fine. Then I tried updated the sysNAND to the latest version via system settings and now it wont boot to Home Menu/Decrypt9/EmuNAND9.
I'm almost certain I checked the "Block FIRM partition updates" check box in the CFW.

Is there any way to get my 3DS to boot again without hard modding it? I have sysNAND backups of system version 9.2 with and without a9hl but hard modding should be the last resort.
Dude. Use the correct firmware.bin. Don't use the 9.0 FIRM.

So, if I already have a9hl and an AuReiNand CFW on my sysnand, how do I check whether or not I have block firm updates checked?
