Did Epic Games acquire Ubisoft recently?
I was talking to the Epic Games customer support regarding an issue with Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, which I bought through the Epic Games store.
The customer support staff told me they couldn't help me with my issue as Epic Games only "recently acquired " Ubisoft and some specific in-game and/or account issues would be outside of their scope.
This might sound dumb and maybe I'm just out of the loop, but I couldn't find any other info about it online.
Seems like a pretty big deal i.e "big if true".
