The bit the stands out for me is this
"Interestingly, Nintendo is also providing a firmware update later in the year which allows you to transfer both the NES and GBA games to a different 3DS system, much like the DSi to 3DS software transfer method.

This means if your friend bought a 3DS after the Ambassador programme ended, you could in theory transfer your GBA games to their system so they could play them. It's probable that they'll be removed from your system in the process, though."

How very annoying

Err, not really? Just dont give it to your friend? Umm, I think that feature is more in tune to transferring them to a new 3DS and otherwise a pretty moot point...

I see nothing annoying about it. You you want to keep the games all you have to do is not transfer them to a friend.

That's like saying 'here is a free toy for the first 50 people through the door, however nobody is ever allowed to give them away'.

If it doesn't wipe them off, I would kick something. Knowing my luck I'd transfer them to my own new 3DS and brick them both

it is the SAME as
the dsi->to 3ds transfer

there is option in the setting the the show
3ds->to->3ds

anyway will each game take 1 box of the main menu or will all 20 games be in 1 box

All of the other vc titles take one box each, I assume these would also.

Nintendo will probably have to add some sort of 'folder' functionality the same way that Apple had to with iPod touch.

furthermore, if you take a $20 bill out of your wallet and give it to your friend, you may find that your wallet contains $20 less

how anyone could get upset over the logical way that digital rights transferring works just boggles the mind
