Another month, another release. The main features for this release are the major speedup for the 2D core, a GDB debugger stub, multiple language support for windows port and a FPS limiter for the *nix ports. For now the only packages available are the source package and windows binary. The regular *nix builds will come sometime week.

UPDATE: Debian 32-bit/64-bit builds are now available on the downloads page.

Yeah... now long in GBA's timeline have GBA emus gotten to where they are today? I honestly don't know, but it would be nice to know, to get some ideas about how long it'll take for DS emus... But wouldn't we need to like, double the time, since the DS has like double the hardware to emulate? (Stereo speakers vs mono, 2 ARMs vs 1ARM, mic, wifi vs linkcable, etc)

All Gameboy...hell all Nintendo handhelds from GB on have been stereo. It's just that not until the latest came along did they bother placing 2 speakers on the hardware. You get some headphones or a speaker jack and even decent melodic stuff like that so-so 1st Castlevania booms and pans the riffs and effects for you.

Is there even any serious development going on for PSP emulation? Last I checked, the PSP homebrew scene was mostly dedicated to making emulators FOR the PSP.

Besides, PSP emulation is a lot more difficult, considering it's hardware is considerably more advanced than the DS.

Any improved compatibility with the new version?

It isn't considerably more advanced, it's at least 3 times more powerful then the DS. Which makes it really really hard to emulate. Maybe in the very far future we'll have at least 75% emulated.
