I was about to post this when I stumbled upon this thread. Looks like you beat me to it. Switch in vertical mode with the flipgrip- and touchscreen support for the “bottom screen” would make the switch the best NDS emulation option (assuming performance is good).

Citra port next? Lol (or are we way underpowered?)

The last couple of days I decided to mess around with the switch, so for my first release I decided on a DS emulator.

The interface is very crude based on the Vita port I worked on a few years back. Basically just put some roms inside sdmc:/switch/desmume/roms and play.

There truly aren’t that many pages to read through if you cared enough to go back ONE page to find your answer.

I've tried DeSmuME through Linux on my Switch and while it runs faster than DeSmuME-NX, it still doesn't run fullspeed in a lot of cases. Hardware rendering will help, but I think what we really need is a JIT.

Well no offence to you, it just gets repetitive having to repeat what's already been said since this thread started, we get your not 100% active on this forum neither am I, and we aren't saying your bad at reading, but we just ask that you at least look into your question before asking it is all, I'll be kind, and point out the answer your looking for has avalible since page 2 it's about 5 FPS, and nothing has changed as far as proformance in the past 2 months, as you'd see if you look at OP's provided github, that last commits where made 2 months ago.

It's not a matter of being active as much as it is just knowing where to get your answer from, for yourself, be a bit more independent do some reasearch, it won't take long.

Thank-you for appreciating what I had to say I suppose, and just to clear things up, so you know my perspective, no one anywhere is perfect, and I never intended to claim that superiority myself, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't at the very least try to be the best we can for ourselves, and those around us, also I really can't speak for everyone here, but I'm just showing you the same outlook that I'd expect of anyone else here, especially of myself. which is fair if you ask me, not saying I haven't contradicted what I preach at some point, like I'm sure anyother human has at one point, just to be aware of it. mutual respect.

Also so this is still slightly on topic, uhhhh.... the DS Emu is pretty cool, but it's a shame it's being limited by the slow rate of developement done with the SDK, hopfully it picks back up eventually...

Help! Every time I open it up it says "Error: Directory not found!" Then if I press X it takes me to this gray screen and it wont open any of the DS roms on my SD card what am I doing wrong?
