nice...surely the wii version will offer some improvements to justify paying for it...

the wii version looks to be much more in depth than the one on the website.

Well, now we know what Nintendo's been working on for WiiWare these last months. What a waste, in my opinion. If Nintendo would just improve their Internet Channel, add a few tweaks, and that's it. We would be able to play this game as a flash game for free, using the Internet Channel. But the world, sadly, runs on greed and money. So, I don't care. This WiiWare could go either way. I'm not getting it unless I get a good explanation and a good review.

If the game is 500 Wii points, I still wouldn't get it.
If you don't buy 2 of these games, you can get a full blown N64 game. I would get something like the Final Fantasy Wiiware game though. Something that the developers actually spent time making. ;P

i hope other wiiware titles will be better, this one looks like shit
Personally I love the way it looks, though its unoriginal in premise it looks like one of those games that'll sap my time.

Features:

* 4 Player jump-in cooperative gameplay - Defend your Castle with up to 3 pals!
* Compete with your friends for kingship - Get crowned for dominating other players and earn the right to manage the Kingdom!
* Completely new visuals and animation - "The graphics now have more style, colour and life to them, as if they were drawn by a three year-old hyped up on sugar with unlimited supplies of Crayola." - N-Europe
* Enhanced physics & particle effects
* Repel even faster and more massive waves of invaders
* Not a port of the original - Defend Your Castle has been re-created from the ground up to utilize the unique capabilities of the Nintendo Wii™ and Wii Remote™
* Unlimited levels - Continue to grow the strength of your Kingdom indefinitely
* Play on your big screen TV, from your couch!
* All this and more for only 500 Wii Points™

I think it's worth it for the co-op aspect personally, so much fun. This does look better and more feature rich than the flash game.

The Wii version is totaly diferent from de flash version.

And the WiiWare has some games that you can't find in flash on the Internet, like Final Fantasy CC that has better graphics than FFCC on GameCube.
