Hacking Decrypt extdata?

Hey,

so I've been wondering if somebody here has successfully decrypted extdata on their SD data and if so, how they did it.

It should be possible at this stage, so I'm curious why I can't find more info on this. Afaik the main thing to do is dump the 3DS' movable.sed to gain access to the console specific keys.

I'm sorry if this all totally wrong, I'm not too wary of how the 3DS security etc. works, this is just what I gathered from reading the 3dsbrew entries.

If you know how to hex edit the original rom file, you can probably incorperate some Gameshark codes.

[user]Earthbound 2[/user] I think the VC version of this game is the original game in the form of a rom and emulator. I don't think Egg Gauntlet Zone would be included.
