When I plug the joystick module up, it moves on its own and can be controlled just a little bit

When it's unplugged, it still moves around on its own but only when I turn the 3DS on

It shoots to the last column of games and stops but I have to scroll all the way back

Did I break the motherboard?

Turn the sound down there is a lot of noise

Hey there, had this same issue, couldn't find any info either. In my case, iirc it was because the flex cable wasn't all the way in. Bought a spare circlepad and all, got the same behavior; that's how I found out.
