I do not much care for pokemon (so no game specific stuff) but what you ask may not be as simple as you suspect:
Keyboards are often graphics which is easy enough to change but you will also have to change the underlying font (be it by changing the characters (fairly simple but will probably render the game unreadable) or expanding what the game does for characters (somewhat harder)).
