Hacking CycloDS fucked up

Im a happy CycloDS owned since November 2007, always worked perfect and no complains...

But now it starts to get fucked up :S

About 2 weeks ago when i booted my DS it said no DS cart was inserted, and I thought, "well probably just some glitch that needs a reboot"... After i rebooted it still didnt work...
I reboted it like 20 times.. no success, about 1 hour later I tried my DS again and it showed that the CycloDS is inserted and I started it, but it freezed at the loading screen and i started getting pretty mad, I rebooted the DS and now it said no cart was inserted again...

After like 20 minutes I tried again and it started like it should and i played the homebrew "StillAlive" for some time, you cant go back to the menu from homebrews so I rebooted the DS to change game... and it said no cart was inserted again...

This is how it is right now...
Says no cart is inserted about 65% of all times I try
Freezes at loading sreen 10% of all times I try
and boots properly 35% of all times I try

Between the trys i need to wait like 10minutes...

All "real" game carts work 100% of the time i tries....


Anyone knows whats wrong? :S

Please help me, i really love my CycloDS playes on it almost every day

have u tried removing the kart and blowing any debris out?

if so, maybe its a problem with ur micro sd card? try reformatting it

get a thin bit of paper

put it between the inside of the ds and cyclo ds cart. I have the excat same problem. They had a dodgey first few batchs. The paper will apply some pressure to the cart forcing its contacts to firmly touch the ds cart readers contacts.

If anyone smokes roll ups or blazes in your house then a bit of green card from a rizzla packet does the job perfect

Not unless the DS is pumping out 451F of pure heat

course it wont. I had the same problem. Its either the paper trick or getting in contact with TC who im sure would replace the defective unit for you.
