It absolutely can, with O3DS the plugin defaults to being turned on because mode3 games need it. In short this plugin loader breaks all the old barriers we used to have
Well, i've tried this plugin on NTR (i still dont know if or not swap my GW emunand with Luma), maybe because is not luma3ds, it cant detect cheats, but on Makora's Mask the plugin load correctly, but in MH XX doesn't work.
Somebody with o3ds can test this plg with extended memory games like MHXX and pokèmon sun? (if it works correctly, then i turn to Luma3DS; i use sometimes cheats or when some videogame section can take too long, but i share my o3ds with my brother and he love to cheat, and, like me, he love Monster Hunter games)

on o3ds, there is barely enough memory to make it work on regular games, so not enough memory to make it work on extended memory games
 
So does this mean I can move all my plg's to Luma instead of ntr? Along with the text files (I don't currently use) since most cheats are plug-ins.
 
Also what's the deal with the boot file, if I have the plg in one enabled I can't use regular apps with out switching back to the stock boot?
 
Downloaded the boot.7z from the OP. I open my game, open Rosalina, enable game patching, save settings, close the game (Animal Crossing), re-open it, the screen flashes green and my console crashes. Here's my crash dump, I'm using a N2DS XL if that matters.

your problem is you closed and reopened the game

So why around this forum there's a giude to use this plugin on MHXX on o3ds too if doesn't work?

what difference? So no way to make this to work on o3ds for games like MHXX?
Anyway that post talk about this plugin; i know that regular plugin with 300kb or less in size work on o3ds, but this one (even if over 700kb) is not game specific like regular plugin, its more a sort of generic plugin, so really there's no way to make it working?

any extended memory game plugin over 300KB are not recommended for o3ds
 
this is a blank plugin. there likely isn't much room to shrink it without removing the very feature you'd use most (AR code translation)
so there' no hope for o3ds users? I must stuck with GW :/
(cannot shrink plugin even with removing search engine and game guides? I usually never did cheats by myself, just use them sometimes)
 
@Nanquitas can you make a low size version of this plugin in way to use on extended memory games for O3DS users like me?
As @iSharingan said, there's nothing to remove and even with the strict basics of the plugin we would still be bigger than 300Kb.
But this is why I made a Luma3DS mod which can load the plugin with Mode3 games (no NTR saves a lot of space).

Download it from OP and use it to load the plugin with your game.

You SURE it works on O3DS with extended memory games??
I do not want to update my 3DS (and swap GW for Luma) for nothing and then downgrade back to 4.5.0

Made it works just fine with Pokemon Ultra Moon & Ultra sun on a O3DS so yeah.

Why don't you do an emunand at worst ? (Or just a nand backup before updating, if it doesn't work as you want, restore it back and it's like nothing happened)
