I'm new to the PSP modding scene my psp had LCFW 6.39 Pro B8 but then i found out my PSP 3000 was Model 04g so i downgraded to 6.20
and now im using 6.20 Pro B8 because its permanent.

So i was wondering can i use CTF themes on my psp with its current CFW, if so how?

Thank you i got the cxmb working

now would any ctf themes work or solely ones for said cfw

CTF themes only work on which fw they were made for.

Say you wanted to use a 5.00 CTF on 5.50 that wouldn't work.

ty but just for informational purposes what would happen if i tried?
im not gonna try it but just need to know

also is there chance of bricking with themes

glad i asked dont wanna go and brick my psp

so let me get this straight i have cfw 6.20 pro b8
i found a site with some themes said to work with 6.20 TN-B (HEN) will it also be compatible with pro b8?

sorry for all the questions but it pays to be informed

I doubt it'd brick as unless PRO firmwares operate in a totally different way with respect to themes then, with the whole point of CXMB being to avoid flash0 in theme-ing in favour of the MS, if you try a CTF not supported by your firmware it just won't work.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up for me.

I'd wager that you knew it, you were just being cautious.

But no problem anyway.
