Hacking Creating an ISO from a DVD-R backup ??

Hi all,

I am trying to create an ISO from a DVD-R backup using Imgburn (not the very latest version) on full read speed.

Up until 88% everthing was going fine but the DVD drive then started struggling to read the DVD. It seems to have taken 25 retries between 88% and 91% but, crucially, no read errors. Is this usual for Wii backups ? Or is it more likely to be a problem with the DVD drive and/or DVD-R combination ?

More importantly, I am assuming the ISO will be fine if it completes with no read errors ... yes ?

I just use DVD Decryptor for everything. :|

imgburn and dvd decrypt is the same friggin program.
and yes ripping burned games with imgburn will work maybe slow the speed down, but i have done it many times

What they said will work, but if you use Linux or (maybe) Mac, this would do the trick:

dd if=/dev/dvd of=game.iso
