SO i know not all games support the circle pad pro but do they at know if it tries to make some sort of input? I wanted to know cause i wanted to do one of the cool gamecube controller to 3 mod but don't want to put it directly into my 3ds. (I can afford to f*** up a 20 back thing but not my 3ds) I saw you could do the mod to a circle pad pro so i might do it but is it worth my time? So i can play smash. Thanks!

Oh really? I know that. I'm asking if it was possible to see if you could a controller and see if it allows input even if it doesn't support the CPP.
I have no clue what you're asking but
You can mod a GCN controller into the CPP and it will work for all games that support the CPP

but not Smash. Ever.
Smash turns off the IR reciever. It won't ever turn on, unless you patch the code.bin or use an NTR plugin, but even then I don't know if that will work.

If you do manage to get it on, have fun with lag and dropped frames everywhere. The kind of lag that's barely noticable but in a fighting game makes all the difference.
